Frequently Asked Questions

Tiffany Walensky Photography is located in Wesley Chapel, FL, which is in Pasco County just north of Tampa. Service area includes all of Tampa Bay, (Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties) including Land O Lakes, Lutz, Citrus Park, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs Spring Hill, Dade City, Zephyrhills, Odessa, Westchase, Brandon, Valrico, Plant City, Riverview, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Lakeland, and more.

The sooner the better! Maternity sessions take place around 30-32 weeks, so it is best to schedule while in the early part of your second trimester.

Newborn sessions should be scheduled before the baby arrives to ensure I have availability. The best time to capture a posed newborn session is 1-2 weeks after birth. Lifestyle newborn sessions have more flexibility and can take place up to 3 or 4 weeks after birth if needed (although 1-2 weeks is still best when possible). My calendar does often fill up in advance so please contact me as early as possible.

That’s entirely up to you and you are able to purchase as many as you like. There is a minimum requirement, but you may purchase more if you’d like to. 1-2 days after the session, you will be sent a link to view a proofing gallery of the images from your session. You will be able to choose the images you like best. (Proofing galleries are watermarked and may not be screenshot/saved, but final images will not be watermarked).

I provide everything needed for studio posed newborn sessions, including props. I don’t generally use props for maternity/family sessions. If you’d like to use props for your maternity session, you could bring something personal such as an ultrasound picture or baby shoes.

For first birthday sessions, I have several first birthday props I will bring. I do not provide cake, or cake smash decor such as balloons/banner. You are welcome to bring those, and I will give recommendations for what to purchase.

Absolutely! I have several beautiful locations I use on a regular basis, and once I find out more about the kind of look you want, I will provide a great recommendation.

Newborn: Studio newborn sessions start at 9:30am. Lifestyle sessions start a little later, between 10-11am.

Maternity/Family: Outdoor sessions start about 2 hours before sunset for the best lighting and beautiful golden sunset colors. In the winter your session may start as early as 3:30pm, and in the summer it may start as late as 7pm. Sunrise sessions are also an option on some dates. These can be a good idea for first birthday sessions or family sessions that have young children that won’t do well with a late evening session.

I do not provide hair and makeup services myself but will send you recommendations for who to contact.

Pricing

Tiffany Walensky Photography offers packages that include digital images. You have enough to think about – a portrait session should be streamlined and stress-free. I am often praised for my organization, timely responses, and attention to detail. I provide everything you need for your session, and my prep guides will have you fully prepared. Sessions include:

Access to the maternity and newborn session prep guides
Access to the newborn studio props
Access to the maternity gown closet (70+ gowns to choose from)
Questionnaires to fill out and customize your session for your favorite poses, colors, props
Proof gallery sent to you 1-2 days after the session: you choose your favorites
Once you choose your favorites: 2 weeks or less editing time to professionally retouch your images to look their best
A private online gallery to download your purchased images once edited
Print release to print as you wish & share online
Full sessions starting around $550. Weekends/beach locations extra
